The Dunhill Bar

The Dunhill Bar

Enjoy a smoked Old Fashioned, a classic cocktail, or a whiskey neat at The Dunhill Bar, nestled inside the lobby of the historic Dunhill Hotel. Built in 1929 by Charlotte architect Louis Asbury Sr., The Dunhill is one of uptown Charlotte’s few remaining historic landmarks.

Classic Cocktails

Under the direction of The Asbury’s celebrated chef Tim Groody, our bar team crafts cocktails inspired by The Dunhill’s history. Sip Prohibition-era cocktails like Bee’s Knees or Black Manhattan in the convivial atmosphere of the historic bar.

Old Fashioneds

A stellar selection of whiskeys, bourbons, and ryes is available. Or enjoy one of our signature smoked Old Fashioneds, like The Apparition (Bulleit bourbon, orange bitters, brown sugar, amarena cherry, orange twist) or Louisville Slugger (Basil Hayden, maple syrup, black pepper bacon).
